Nutty Mix packaging series blends expressive, playful typography with bold, minimal illustrations to create a fun and approachable snack brand. Each flavor features its own warm color palette and hand-drawn nut graphics, while the retro-inspired type pairing adds charm and personality. The result is line of pouches that feel both modern and nostalgic.

For typography we wanted to nod to what has been used in older and familiar rootbeer packaging, but add a more modern and fresh twist. The typography that is often used includes scripts, added glyphs, and overall heavy weighted type. Dax Pro provides a clean, rounded sans-serif presence that feels contemporary and approachable, while Thirsty Script adds a flowing, vintage-inspired script that brings personality and softness. Avenir Next and Avenir Next Condensed add structure and versatility.
Illustrations
For illustrations, me and one of my group mates created an assortment of flat flora and fauna. We wanted the design to feel natural and organic.
